Tasting - Santa Julia (Pinot Grigio)

Santa Julia
Pinot Grigio
Mendoza, Argentina
2013
$8.95

Wine review: Light and clean, which compared to other Argentine Pinot Grigios is not something to dismiss. Feels solid and punchy, with  orange and mango flavors. Has nice overall clarity and balance, with a citrusy finish.

My review: Light golden and plum color. Acidic and lemon on the nose. This wine is acidic and light bodied with spicy and strong lemon aroma/taste on the palate. This wine finishes light and short, but it is well balanced between acidic and fruity component. not too acidic nor not too fruity. Acidic fruit forward component will hit your palate with clean and fresh aroma and taste. This wine will go well with fresh fruit desert or light creamy seafood pasta dishes.
