Wine review: Rich, fruit forward cherry flavors, soft tannins, a medium body and a smooth velvety finish. Pairs well with creamy soups, salmon, and savory pork dishes.
My review: Dark cherry color. Creamy and vanilla on the nose with little bit of butter aroma component. Subtle sweet and buttery flavor and aroma hit the mid palate and it lasts for a while. Medium body with medium to long finish. The finish was also very smooth with hint of vanilla component at the end. Smooth and also tannic flavors last throughout the entire palate with slight hint of dark cherry. This wine will be well paired with any red meat dishes also chicken with thick creamy sauce.
