Wine review: South Island Riesling has a range and combination of flavors unlike any other. these flavors span citrus, root ginger, white peach, spices and floral. eco.love Riesling is made in balance to an off-dry style.
My review: Light and pink plum color. Strong smoke and spicy ginger on the nose with medium body with semi dry component. Balance between citrus and ginger aroma on the palate provides clean and well organized structures. Short finish with ginger component remains longer than expected. Medium hot and dry with balanced acidity at the end. It was not a sweet Riesling, but well balanced acid and dry component provide pleasant finish with some complexity to the wine. It will go well with medium creamy seafood pasta, or any fish with garlic sauce.
