Wine review: Chardonnay Semillon is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Semillon. It gives a moderate intensity of melon, guava, apricot and butterscotch aromas. the medium bodied palate provides attractive acidity along with plenty of tropical fruit flavors and a medium-long finish.
My review: Golden light, clear, and yellow color. Strong lemon on the nose. Medium body wine with medium hot on the mid palate. Even though the wine review says this wine has long finish, I was not able to get the long finish at all. It was very short to medium finish. However, I found this wine very well balanced between the citrus and tannic components which provide medium acidic dry wine that will go well with medium cheese or any pasta with seafood meals. It will also go well with strawberry dipped with chocolate deserts.
